Chico's Magic Show
A magical morning at the Outdoor Theatre
Alex Buijk brought along his monkey Chico to perform a very cool magic trick, if that goes well.... With his tricks, Alex managed to amaze, entertain and surprise the visitors. Another elephant had to be conjured away, but that can only be done with a very large magic stick! As icing on the cake, Alex magically made a table fly through our theatre.
The Owl Forest
An enchanting adventure in the puppet theatre!
We recently enjoyed a joyful and interactive puppet show by Sanne van Oosterwijk at the Owl Forest. The children (and secretly the adults too) were taken into an imaginative story full of humour, surprises and colourful characters. We are still enjoying this intimate performance full of surprises!
Teacher Malou - Studio Sisa
A splashing trip with Miss Malou!
How much we enjoyed this morning with Teacher Malou from Studio Sisa. She took the children on a journey to find out what you really need when you go on holiday. Along the way she experienced recognisable adventures, they sang and of course danced! In short, Juf Malou made it a party and brought plenty of energy to our outdoor theatre!
The Fairy Tale King - The Story of Little Red Riding Hood
A fairytale afternoon!
The outdoor theatre was transformed into a veritable Fairy Tale Garden! In the Fairy King's tree castle, Red Riding Hood was invited to bring to life the story of Little Red Riding Hood as you have never seen it before. It was a magical adventure! A visit to the Fairy Tale Garden to remember!
SEASON 2024
Season 2024 performances:
Celebrating Pim & Pom party: the two pals Pim & Pom came to Vrouwenhof to have a party, but they didn't know how. Fortunately, with the help of the audience, it worked out just fine!
Slodde & Vos in the sound garden: SlodDe (the Fox), Fox (the Cat), and Katta (the Koala) took us through all kinds of fantastic stories. The musical duo took us on a merry adventure. There was dancing like a fish, a chicken or like a bird sheep?!
The magic closet: Huub Cooijmans has found a cupboard on marketplace, absolutely free! When he picks it up, he finds out that the cupboard is locked, but why? In the outdoor theatre, it turned out that it was no ordinary cupboard, but one full of magic!
Sjakie & Jopie: friends Sjakie & Jopie want to organise a street party, but it turns out to be not so easy. When the ice creams start melting, the whole street party seems to go haywire. If only that works out.

At Vrouwenhof Roosendaal, there is always room for creative minds with original initiatives. Our theatre mainly plays children's shows, but all creative ideas are welcome!
